Microblading - $350

(Touch Up $75)

About the procedure:

Microblading is a manual Microstroking technique used to create the appearance of brow hairs. This yields a realistic and natural result that can give the brow a fuller appearance. This technique gives us the opportunity to create crisp, fine “hair” strokes that can help to fill in thin brows or brows with bald spots. It also allows us to create total brow reconstruction for those who have completely bare brows and/or have been impacted by a condition which has reduced or eliminated their brow hair growth. Prior to the procedure we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. Microblading does not require any tweezing, waxing, plucking, or shaving of the brows and does not damage the existing brow hair. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours and there is no “down time”. A touch up is required after the initial procedure. After that touch ups are recommended yearly to maintain color and crispness of the strokes.

Please note:  Microblading is not for everyone…. For the first 10-12 days, eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation and the natural skin healing process of the immune system. This is common and to be expected for all permanent makeup procedures.

Preparing for the the procedure:

  • Do not tan or have sunburned face.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil or Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
  • No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
  • No waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
  • No tweezing/ waxing at least 48 hours before procedure; electrolysis no less than five days before. Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least two weeks.
  • Eyebrow tinting should be done or removed no sooner than 48 hours before, or two weeks after the procedure.

Additional Information

Please be aware that the result of the procedure is depending the following: Medication and health conditions, Skin Conditions – i.e. oily and poor skin, very dry/flaky skin, sun-damaged skin, loose or laxed skin, Natural skin undertones, Alcohol intake and smoking, General stress, immune system, Poor diet and not following the aftercare instructions, may affect your healed results.

Antacids, thyroid and anxiety medications have been reported as interfering with permanent makeup either by affecting retention or shifting the pigment to an undesirable tone. Remember, everything we eat and drink have their own chemical structure and the electron ends that are unattached or free, may get attached to others compounds inside the body forming a new molecule that may show a different color spectrum. With that info, an educated client may have better expectation and know that she / he may need more frequent adjustments that others. The better condition your skin is in, the better the final result will be. Mature clients may need an additional one to two weeks healing for the final results to appear. The better you take care of your skin and protect it from UV rays, the better the outcome and lifespan of the permanent cosmetic procedures.

Permanent Makeup is NOT recommended for clients who have the following items:

  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Diabetic
  • Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
  • Viral infections and/or diseases
  • Epilepsy
  • Pacemaker or major heart problems
  • Organ transplant
  • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
  • Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
  • Botox in the past 2 weeks

After Care:

Your brows cannot get wet at all. It would be best to wash and cleanse your face with a washcloth or wipes for these ten days to avoid any splashing on your brows. In addition, not profuse sweating (hot yoga and the sauna will have to be on pause for 10 days), no creams, no makeup directly on the brows, and no sun exposure (if you know you will need to be in the sun for extended periods of time you must wear a wide brimmed hat). You must let the scabbing process happen naturally. This is very important for your retention and skin healing. Do NOT pick at the scabs, scratch your brows, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. After 10 days you may resume your normal life and beauty routines.

Healing:

The healing time for microblading is usually 25 to 30 days. It begins immediately following your operation. The rate at which your skin heals, however, will vary significantly from person to person. Many factors come into play, including your age, overall health, and skin type. In general, your brows will change appearance over the first 10 to 14 days. Almost every day, the color, definition, and texture will vary. Different feelings in your skin will also occur. Your face will feel tender, tight, and painful at first. This will lead to itching and flaking, which will gradually go away. Microblading results typically last 18 to 30 months. Touch-ups will be required every 12 to 18 months.

Combination Eyebrows - $400

(Touch Up $75)

About the procedure:

The combo brow combines the hairstrokes of microblading with the shading of Ombre. This achieves the most natural look possible for the brow with more of a 3D effect. This technique is good for those who have particular emptiness in their brows or patchy spots, and/or for those who just want a fuller looking brow. Prior to the procedure we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that compliments your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours and there is no “down time”. A touch up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that touch ups are recommended yearly to maintain color and crispness of the strokes.

Healing:

Both combination brows and microblading have a similar recovery procedure. The brows heal in 7-14 days, and the color takes about a month to properly set in. It's critical not to get your brows wet for the first two weeks or so to allow them to heal correctly. The colorful pigment will begin to deepen as they recover. Your brows may take up to four weeks to fully settle. We recommend that you return 6-8 weeks following your original visit for a touch-up session so that we can darken any areas or fill in any spots.

Powder Brows

  • A cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun.
